Olamide, the Nigerian rapper, has released a new single titled ’99’ featuring Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young John, and Daecolm.

Despite their distinct musical styles, Asake’s Afro-fusion energy, Seyi’s witty lyricism, and John’s smooth vocals blend seamlessly over Olamide’s signature punchlines.
“To the bank o/ You know say money money make I dance o/ I am feeling funky/ Because I got a couple of milli lowkey/ Money make the world go round/ E no do me I want more/ E lo lomaje/ Padi mi ki lonso/ Meji Meji/ I am going to party like 99/ Need all my girls to get high tonight”, they sing.
’99’ is part of Olamide’s upcoming project, which has been generating buzz across digital platforms and among industry watchers.
With the entry of 99 into the Top 5, Olamide reaffirms his staying power in Nigeria’s ever-evolving music landscape, consistently bridging the gap between street culture and mainstream charts.
Fans and music critics alike have hailed the track as one of the standout collaborations of 2025 so far.
This is also the first collaboration between him and Asake after the latter recently parted ways with YBNL and established his label named Giran Republic.
Olamide is regarded as one of the biggest rappers in Nigeria. He launched his music label ‘Yahoo Boy No Laptop’, also known as YBNL Nation, in 2012.
The record label has produced talented musicians like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, and Chinko Ekun.
