Former U.S. President Barack Obama continues his annual tradition of sharing his favorite tracks, unveiling his much-anticipated 2024 playlist on Saturday.
Taking to his X account, Obama wrote: “Here are my favourite songs from this year! Check them out if you’re looking to shake up your playlist.”
This year’s playlist spotlights standout artists such as Rema, Asake, Tyla, and Shaboozey.
Rema appears with “Yayo” from his HEIS album, while Asake’s “Active” featuring Travis Scott represents his latest project, Lungu Boy. Tyla makes the list with “Jump,” a track from her self-titled debut album featuring Gunna and Skillibeng. Shaboozey rounds it out with “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
The playlist also includes songs from international stars like Billie Eilish with her track Lunch, Beyoncé’s Texas Hold ’Em, and Kendrick Lamar’s Squabble Up.
