Nigerian music sensation Wizkid has reached a remarkable milestone by equaling Burna Boy’s record for the most albums charted on the prestigious Billboard 200 by a Nigerian artist.
His latest album, “Morayo,” debuted at number 98 on the chart, with first-week sales of 13,000 units.
Morayo has made waves across multiple charts, debuting at number 4 on the Billboard World Albums chart and securing a unique position in Nigerian music history.
This achievement places Wizkid and Burna Boy as the only Nigerian artists with four charting albums each on the Billboard 200, as confirmed by Chart Data in a post on X:

Morayo has also set a new benchmark by becoming the first African album to have all its tracks featured in the Billboard US Afrobeats Chart Top 20.
As he celebrates this monumental achievement, Nigerian superstar, Davido, is gearing up to join this elite rank. With three albums already charted on the Billboard 200, Davido’s upcoming fifth studio project, “5IVE,” expected in 2025.
