Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated album “Love, Damini” tops RIAA certification for Nigerian albums, earning a prestigious Gold certification.

‘Love, Damini’ is Burna Boy’s sixth album which delivered notable hit records that further cemented his place as one of Africa’s biggest musical exports.

This milestone not only highlights Burna Boy’s global influence but also underscores the growing impact of Nigerian music on the international stage.

Released in 2022, “Love, Damini” has captivated audiences worldwide, solidifying Burna Boy’s status as one of Africa’s most prominent musical exports.

The album has now sold 500,000 units in the United States thus earning it an RIAA Gold plaque.

This feat comes courtesy of the hit records the album delivered including ‘Last Last‘ which spent multiple weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at NO. 44.

His hit collaboration ‘For My Hand’ featuring Grammy-winning British star Ed Sheeran and guest appearances from J HusJ Balvin, and Khalid all contributed to the album’s international success.

Burna Boy’s success with “Love, Damini” paves the way for future Nigerian artists to gain international acclaim.
