Yemi Alade, the popular Nigerian singer, has revealed how she navigates the entertainment industry without getting roped in its controversies.
The singer of “Johnny” stated that she doesn’t allow people’s opinions get to her.
Speaking on the unveiling of her new album, “Rebel Queen,” at a listening party in Lagos, Yemi Alade elaborated on how she deals with negative criticism:
She said, “I don’t dwell on it too much. I focus on living my life fully because it’s the only one I have.”
“Whenever I encounter something that doesn’t resonate with me, I simply turn away and continue moving forward. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.”
Yemi Alade has already released the first single “Tomorrow,” an uplifting and upbeat track that sets the tone for the album.
