Nigerian music star Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, known as Chike, has released his highly anticipated third studio album, titled “Son of Chike”.
The album, which features 12 tracks, comes after the success of his debut album, ‘Boo of the Booless’ (2020), and his sophomore body of work, ‘The Brother’s Keeper’ (2022).
“Son of Chike” features artists such as Olamide, Qing Madi, Amaarae, Mohbad, and Ladipoe. The album also includes pre-released singles “Egwu” (featuring Mohbad), “Man Not God,” and “Ego Oyibo”.
In an interview with Apple Music Africa Now Radio, Chike described the project as a “celebration of his heritage and identity”.
He also said the body of work adds to the legacy of music and culture passed down from previous generations.
“I am Osebuka, the son of my father, and this album symbolizes and celebrates my heritage and identity as a #SonOfChike and my new musical offspring joining the ranks of those that came before,” he wrote.
