Rema receives Spotify’s Billion Club Plague

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Rema has achieved a new milestone in his career, and it has attracted a lot of congratulatory messages from his fans. The superstar has consistently shown that he is fast becoming one of the Afrobeats kings, as he has perfected his craft through the years while gaining more international fans.

The internationally recognized star received a plague ‘The Spotify Billion Club Plague’ from Spotify to applauded his record as the first African artist to hit one billion streams on the music platform. The singer achieved the record with his hit song ‘Calm Down’ featuring Selena Gomez which was released in 2022. Fans now look forward to the new records the artist is set to break.
