Headies announces nomination list

The prestigious Headies Awards have released the nomination list for the 2023 edition of the awards show. The Headies is a music awards show established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. The annual ceremony features performances by established and promising artists.

Artists like Asake and Odumodublvck made headlines as the former bagged 8 nominations and set the record for the debutant with the most nominations at the Headies Awards, while the latter was nominated in the Rookie of the Year and Rap Single of the Year category. Burna Boy holds the position of the artist with the highest nomination this year as he bags 10 nominations.
