The Nigerian U-17 women football team played against New Zealand’s U-17 team on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao, Goa. Both teams went against each other for the group stage match to remain top of the table.

The flamingos are now confident of qualifying from the group stage after their four goals to nil win against New Zealand. The flamingos scored their first goal, sixteen minutes into the game.
