It’s a sad day for the entertainment industry as reality star Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey, was confirmed dead. The reality star became popular after competing for the grand prize in Big Brother Naija season 3. He was pronounced unconscious after being involved in a ghastly motor accident on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The star lost the battle on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Former BBN housemates and celebrities have taken to their social media accounts to share their condolences with the departed’s family. Nigerian actor Tobi Bakre took to his social media account to share a picture of himself and Rico which he captioned: “This is how I will remember us, brother. Forever. RIP.” The family of the departed is, however, yet to announce the burial arrangement for their beloved family member.
