Asake’s Debut Album Debuts at Number 66 on the Billboard 200

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Asake who released his debut album, ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ on September 8, 2022, has broken some records with the hit album. On the first week of release, the album occupied the number one to twelve spot on the Top 100 Apple Music Nigeria. The album also set a record of becoming the African album with the highest first-day and three-day streams. The most recent feat is the album making its first entry on the Billboard 200 chart at number 66.

On Monday, September 19, 2022, he became the first artist in the history of TurnTable Charts to have 7 songs off a single album on the chart. Other records the album has broken are :

In a record-breaking trend, nine songs off the album got into the Global Daily Top 100. ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ reached Number One on the Top Albums Chart in 31 countries worldwide, including Nigeria, the U.K, and Ireland. Some songs off the album reached the Daily Top 100 in sixty countries worldwide, and they reached the Top 10 in twenty-six countries out of those sixty. The leading songs off the album also reached Number One in 14 countries worldwide. Fans expect the album to break more records in the coming weeks as the artiste is at the peak of his career.
