Olamide’s ‘Carpe Diem’ sets an Audiomack record.
Carpe Diem is the eleventh studio album of Nigerian rapper Olamide and his first body of work under Empire Distribution. According to The Olamide Music Chart on Twitter, Carpe Diem crossed the 500 million stream mark across all dsps on June 1, 2021.
The album was released on the 8th of October, 2020. It has 12 songs and it features artists like Omah Lay, Bella Shmurda, Phyno, Bad Boy Timz, Peruzzi and Fireboy DML.
Olamide’s album Carpe Diem has become the very first album by an African rapper to surpass 200 MILLION streams on Audiomack. No other rapper in Africa has an album with over 100 Million streams on the platform.
Across all boards, the album is one of the highest streamed albums ever by a Nigerian Rapper.
