Ivory Coast’s Minister of Defense denies allegation of drug trafficking

Ivory Coast’s Defense Minister, Hamed Bakayoko has denied allegations of his involvement in drug trafficking.

The Minister was accused of being a “cocaine dealer” by a Canadian Website.

Mr Bakoyoko, in a bid to deny the allegations, said that drug trafficking goes against his principles and as well tarnishes the image of Ivory Coast. The Defence Chief has decided to sue the Website for defamation of character.
