2022, COMMONWEALTH GAMES.

The 2022 Commonwealth games took place in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The event started on the 28th of July and came to an end on the 8th of August, 2022.

Nigeria was 7th position and the highest ranking African country with 35 medals. The Giants of Africa, no doubt! South Africa ranked 9th position with 7 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 11 bronze medals, a total of 27 medals making it the second highest African country. Kenya, the third highest African came 13th position with 6 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Nigeria had 12 Gold medals, 9 silver medals and 14 bronze medals. This is the highest number of gold medals Nigeria has ever gotten at once. 2022 is definitely a year of record breaking in sports. We love to see it.
